Baby, It’s Cold Outside: J.Crew Camel Coat

January 9, 2017

Boy, is it cold outside! We haven’t gotten above 32 degrees here in Jackson all weekend! It snowed just enough on Friday for us to get some white on the ground. It’s mostly ice now, but I’m not complaining. I’m not asking for a ton of snow, just a little, you know! The good news about this ice cold weather is that I was able to break out my new coat. I’ve been wanting a camel coat for a while and I love the style of this J.Crew Camel Coat that my mom bought my for my birthday! Go Mom!!!

I love the color of this camel. I think J.Crew actually calls it ‘sandstone’ which is probably a much better way to describe it. Its just light enough to work as the perfect neutral and neutrals are my fav. I’m wearing a size 4 for sizing reference. I’ve been pairing neutrals with neutrals lately. My favorite new combination is brown and gray. If you would have asked me to pair these several years ago, I would’ve laughed at you. Now, though, I’m loving the way they look together.

We actually bought this coat when it was on major sale. I’ll keep a look out and let you guys know if it goes on sale again!

This gray scarf is so oversized and cozy and it’s less than $20 at Forever 21! Unfortunately, I bought it before Christmas and it seems to have disappeared from their online shop. If you’re interested, there is a possibility that they’re still selling them in the stores but just in case, I’ve linked a few similar ones here and here!

How presh are these earrings. Thank you Elizabeth (bestie for the restie) for grabbing these for me as a B-Day/Christmas gift. She really outdid herself this year. She also bought me that adorable ‘Kassy On Design’ mug that you saw in this post. These are my new favorite earrings though. And they come in several different colors from Bauble Bar!

I have had my eye on this coat for a long time! I couldn’t decide between the camel and the lavender (totally different, I know) but this color will look great with everything!
