How I would spend One Million Dollars

August 24, 2017

Howdy folks! There’s been a lot of talk around my house about winning the lottery (not that we play the lottery… we don’t)! But my dad recently went in with some friends for work to buy some power ball tickets and so of course, that got us thinking about what we would do if we won. Not that we ever will. The Sanchez/Randazzo family is super unlucky. In fact, Dad only bought tickets because of (and I quote) ‘peer pressure’! It’s apparently still a thing even when you’re his age! He said if he won, he’d start off by giving Keith and I oneΒ million tax free dollars. Since we’ve been talking about it (and this outfit makes me feel like a million bucks) I decided to share my list of things that I would do if I had that kind of money. I’ve thought quite a lot about it lately. And if you’re looking for some sappy ‘I’ll give it all away’ answer, you’re not going to like this one! This is the real deal. So I’m being honest. SUPER HONEST!! Keep reading to check it out! PS: This top is only $19, comes in 4 colors and is long enough to cover your butt (I’ve got it tucked here)! SHOP IT HERE!

Things to Know about Moving to a New State

August 17, 2017

It’s officially been a YEAR since Keith and I packed up and headed north (hah. north) all the way to Clinton, MS to start his new job and our new life. It’s been such a fun year. Lots of up and some downs too. We learned a lot about ourselves and each other. Something about packing up and moving away – just the two of you – really makes things feel ‘real’! Today, I want to share a life update – a bit more about our last year and some of the things that we’ve learned, done, and some adorable photos of my puppies!

How to Wear your Summer Rompers into Fall

August 14, 2017

The summer to fall transition is 100% my favorite ‘fashion transition’ of the year. But it can also be challenging. We’re over here wearing lots of pastels, whites, and light weight fabrics and all of the sudden labor day happens and the fashion ‘lawmakers’ expect us to just change. This is especially hard in the south because the weather stays soooo hot until at least mid October. Well, if you’ve followed along the blog for the last few years then you know that I’m a rule breaker when it comes to fashion. White should be worn all year round and open toed shoes are the BOMB! So, I wanted to put together a post to help you guys make the transition as well. I’ve got tons of the cutest rompers (This is the one from this post!) in my closet that I just don’t want to stop wearing and I’ve got the perfect solution for wearing them into the next season. So keep reading for my tips on how to wear your Summer rompers into Fall!

5 Things to Do Before the End of Summer

August 10, 2017

Technically, Summer doesn’t officially end until September 22. But who pays attention to the official dates, anyway (ME!). Even though we have over a month left, with the kids going back to school and Keith’s 2nd year as a professor looming near, it sure does feel like something great is ending. I’m reminiscing on the best days of summer with the 2 piece striped outfit from Zaful and some of the best ‘golden hour’ sunlight I’ve seen all year. And I’ve come up with a bucket list of sorts forΒ 5 Things to Do Before the End of Summer.
