Hey friends! I hope you all had a very Happy 4th of July weekend. We had friends in town and then my mom and brother so it was a busy but SUPER fun weekend! Since my bestie, Elizabeth was in town, we went out an shot a look for the blog (for old time’s sake)! When I got dressed in this Floral Midi Dress from Makemechic.com, I could tell I was going to need another accessories to take this look to the next level. Benny Shaw (elizabeth’s pup) perked up and volunteered his services for the photoshoot & I’m so glad he did!

Isn’t he the cutest!?! We went with Liz to pick him up when he was about 4 weeks old! Someone found him on the side of the road. He’s about a year and a half old now and a ball of energy! It was so fun to have them in town for the weekend.
So about this dress. I’ve been wanting to try out the floral wrap trend I’ve been seeing everywhere this summer and I’m so glad I did! This Make Me Chic dress is the most comfortable thing ever! It’s also super flattering. I am super short chested and so I almost always have to wear something under things with a V-neck. So I put on the cute little x front bralette that I bought for this dress! It was perfect. I just can’t get enough. Since it wraps, it gives you a cute little slit so you can show a little leg!
Let me tell you about these sunnies! They look a lot like the oval Ray Ban sunglass that everyone is wearing, right? Only they’re only $14 on amazon!!!! They are such fantastic quality too. You will never believe that you got them for as cheap as you did!
This straw market bag is going to be used as my beach bag for my upcoming trip to 30A! To jazz it up a bit, I tied one of my neck scarves on it as ‘purse jewelry’! I wore this scarf around my neck in this post and wasn’t content to let is sit in a drawer until I wore it again! I think adding a little something to this bag really makes the look!
