Pretty In Purple

Pink has been all the rage for the past year, so I thought I’d give it a rest and try something different. Purple is the under appreciated, almost as feminine, pink alternative. I love the pairing of several different shades of purple. I think it shows how versatile the color truly is. A deep purple gives off regal, royal, powerful vibes. A soft Lavender or Lilac makes us feel feminine and young. The two together are GENIUS. That is why today’s look is called Pretty in Purple.

You’ll have to excuse my short explanation of this design. I’m sick and I just can’t (you know how sometimes you just can’t). That’s me today.

I stuck with a more traditional vibe because I feel like I hardly ever do that. I know that most of you guys probably stick to more traditional decor. It’s not a bad thing as long as you assert your design aesthetic as well. If you like purple, the design above is a great way to make use of the traditional pieces you already own but BETTER!

You could have a new living space with a paint job, some new pillows, and a good attitude!

I am glad to know about how to pair a few new items with what I already have. Also, I enjoy hearing your ideas about life. Even in this short article your sweet, positive view of life comes through. It must be God and I love the way he made you! I am sorry you are sick and I expect your new hubby to take good care of you. I look forward to your next posting!
