You caught me – I’m blushing! If you keep up with fashion even a little bit, you know that blush pink has quickly become one of this seasons hottest colors. Gone are the days when the lightest shade of pink is kept reserved for a baby girl’s nursery or a super feminine, flirty blouse. Blush has emerged this year as an everyday neutral! (Yes! You read that right… a NEUTRAL) Peace out to boring shades of nude, brown, and black! HELLO sweet blushing pink!
Check out some of my fav blush colors from pantone below:
How GORG! Simple, Understated, Classy! Can you tell I’m a fan? My bridesmaids happen to be wearing 698C as a fall pastel in my upcoming November wedding.
So lets talk about implementing this lovely shade into our interiors. The bedroom is the obvious place to showcase a pale, feminine shade. I’ve put together a blushing bedroom mood board to help you picture your new space.
What a great idea for anyone’s bedroom. Adding a hint of feminine charm could change the entire dynamic of a space. the Blush linen bedding really sets the tone for the entire space. Pairing this hue with some darker grey and ivory give the room a spa like feel with a touch of gold glam. Add another little hint of the FAB pale pink to an accent chair or small table top accents to tie it all together.
This super great clear base lamp comes in a set of 2 for a great price. The tufted headboard screams lux and I like the look of a sheer panel on the windows to keep the space light and bright. How wonderfully amazing is this chair? It is by FAR my favorite piece in this room design. It’s a splurge for an accent piece but you will be able to reuse this neutral piece from redesign to redesign(WestElm for the WIN, as per usual). And a pop of leopard because, duh!
If you’re like me, you can’t afford to just redo your entire room all at once. So pick and choose your favorite piece and slap some paint on the wall. You’ll be surprised at how such a small thing can create such a big difference. If you’re interested in the paint color above, its Benjamin Moore 2126-40. Remember to always try the sample first and if your room is small, choose a lighter color to make it feel larger!
