I’d like to take this time to give credit where credit is due. My precious fiance, Keith, thinks he is punny! This time I decided to go with it. Hence: Just THROWing it out there!
So I am just going to throw out some THROW PILLOW ideas! Pillows are a simple, affordable way to makeover a space with little effort. They can completely change the dynamic or design of a room.
I decided to skip subtlety and go for the bold! These throw pillow replacements are sure to give you the change you’ve been looking for. Below are some of the most popular and trendy throw pillows out there:
- Watercolor Pillow. This pillow is from Society6.com which is the BEST website for cool, unique pillows! They have tons and tons of bold and fun design. I love this watercolor abstract pillow. I would only put one of these pillow in a space to be sure not to over do it!
- Knit Pillow. Fall is here, folks and what better way to usher it into your homes than with a little knit! This pillow is from the new H&M home collection. It WAY affordable and comes in a great deep turquoise color. Add a little texture to your sofa or bed with this beauty.
- Gold Print Pillow. Gold is the new silver, for sure! If you’re looking to bring a little gold into your space, try a pillow first and see what you think. This cool herringbone patter is a WINNER! Another in the bag for Society6.
- You and Me Pillow. Lulu & Georgia is prob my FAVVVVV decor site ever. Make sure and get text pillow asap. You can pretty much find a pillow to say whatever you want, and if they haven’t made one yet, get a custom! I love this sweet pillow. It says, “We’re happy and in love” without litteraly saying, “I love my boyfriend to the moon and back.” Let’s face it, that has been overused as of late.
- Hot Pink Velvet Pillow. Like I said earlier… fall is here! Good bye to linen and canvas pillows and hello to rich velvets. This H&M Home pillow is RICH but a total steal. If you don’t like pink, no prob… there are plenty of other colors. Heck, get all the colors! I might!
- Light Blue Pillow: Just because summer is fading does not mean we have to set aside our pastels. Blush Pink and Baby Blue are here to stay! Lulu & Georgia for the WIN with this lovely pale blue pillow.
- Dalmatian Print Pillow: You’ve probably seen this one around. Dalmatian print is the new polka dot. You NEED this pillow, trust me on this one! There are several places to get them, but this seller on ETSY has got it right!
- Leopard Pillow: This pillow is EVERYWHERE. It has been in every decent design I’ve seen in the last month. Even I’ve used it in the majority of my blog posts lately. I’ve already ordered mine! There is no better way to usher in the cooler weather than with a little animal print! Get rid of your zebra, leopard is here to stay!
- Pin Tuck Pillow: Doesn’t this look like your grandma’s pillow. Well, your Grandma knew what she was doing. A round pillow is exactly what you need to make a big change. Urban Outfitters has several colors in this cute little thing!
- Palm Print Pillow: Palm Print is the new floral pattern and I don’t think we’ll be seeing the end of this trend for a long while. I know it may feel more summery, but give it a try with some fall colors and I bet you’ll love it! I know I do.
