Gender Neutral Nursery

Y’all – It’s already October! What happened? Where did the time go? I’m getting married in less than TWO months! Wedding planning has been a blast, but I’m ready to be married to my sweetheart. He is a wonderful man, and I am one lucky girl!

With the talk of marriage, comes that age old question that every twenty-something bride-to-be either LOVES or HATES – “Sooooo, when are you two going to start having children?” For most, it’s a dreadful question, but I welcome it! I love children and for as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to start a family. Keith and I don’t plan on rushing into it, but we definitely aren’t going to be waiting forever!

All that being said, I am NOT pregnant (just in case you were wondering). But a lovely friend and follower of mine is! And like many expecting mothers, she has decided to not to find out the sex of her beautiful baby ahead of time. An admirable choice, my friend! I’m not sure my anxiety could handle that. I’m definitely a control-freak and I HATE surprises, just ask everyone who has ever tried to give me a gift.

Anyway, back to this little bundle of Joy! Nurseries are so much fun for new mothers. It gives you an opportunity to prepare your home for your little gift from God. But what if you aren’t going to find out the sex? Gender neutral it is.

Gender neutral doesn’t always mean yellow, guys. Below is my take on a sweet Gender Neutral Baby Nursery.

So sweet, right? I went with an ICE blue because it works for boys and for little princesses… can you say ELSA? Please don’t actually hang pictures of Elsa in this room – just my advice, take it or leave it!

I love this pretty little glider from Target paired with a white side table and pretty clear lamp. THIS CRIB is my fav! It’s from Bratt Decor and I adore this classic metal frame. This one comes in gold, black, white, and the pewter color. When I have a baby, I WILL have it in gold!

These baby blue curtains are also blackout curtains so that you can keep the room dark when needed. Also, not pictured here, Pottery Barn Kids has some AMAZING bedding that would match this room perfectly. The wall art actually comes with 4 prints. I think they’re sweet AND stylish!
