It’s What You Can’t See…

Women Rule… No Truer Words, Friends! I mean, I love my husband and think he’s literally the BEST PERSON in the whole wide world, but now that I’m carrying around another little lady in my belly, I feel the urge to really play it up, you know. I blame it on the extra estrogen coursing through my system. We’re 24 weeks today which means my belly is finally starting to pop and I plan on really showing it off. That’s why I fell in LOVE with this outfit. But the best and most important part of this outfit is hidden underneath. It’s what you can’t see that really counts. Keep reading to find out what I mean.

Well guys, I have found the dress that my soul (aka. pregnant body) loves! Ever since I found out I was pregnant, I’ve dreamed of wearing an outfit like this one but finding a great form fitting dress that fit well was a bit of a challenge. I’m a shortie and maternity clothes are typically made longer than typical dresses, which is totally fine. I definitely don’t want to walk around in a mini dress, but I wanted something that didn’t make me feel like a mouse wearing a giraffe’s pencil dress.

I’m honestly not even surprised that Pink Blush had EXACTLY what I wanted. It’s a great length, even if you’re a little taller than me. It has a great amount of stretch too! Even though I’m only 24 weeks along, I’m confident that this will fit me throughout my pregnancy. Plus it comes in 8 colors. Excuse me while I order ALL of them.

The best part of this outfit, though, is what you can’t see! Say hello to my new Belly Bandit ‘Thighs Disguise’ Maternity Shapewear. Now that I’ve started gaining a little weight, I can see my hips and thighs starting to expand with my belly. I’m told all of this is totally fine but that doesn’t stop me from standing jaw dropped in front of mirror wondering if my body will ever look the same again. Seeing the extra junk in my trunk ALMOST discouraged me from wearing this cute little body hugging dress, guys. But Belly Bandit came speeding to my rescue.

The ‘Thighs Diguise’ Shape wear are basically like Maternity approved spanx. They suck me in in all the right places but leave lots of room for my baby belly. The fabric around the belly is actually much stretchier so that baby girl isn’t squished but my butt is all tight and smooth. Plus I’m still experiencing that weird phase where my belly COULD be a baby or it COULD be fat. The Belly Bandit shape wear smooths it out and kind of helps the shape look ’rounder’ instead of lumpy (you pregnant ladies know what I mean)!

If you’re looking for some belly support or even just great Maternity basics, Belly Bandit is a one-stop-shop. I also have an LOVE their B.D.A. leggings.
