I’ve been waiting for this day for soooo long. Keith and I were so excited to share our wedding day with 300 of our closest friends and family and we are just as excited to share photos of that day with all of you! It was a magical day, full of love and lots of laughter.
Keith and I were married at my late great-grandfather’s home in Walker, La. It is by no means a fancy home but it holds many memories for myself and my family. The home was purchased by a developer days before the wedding and so this was the last ‘hoo-rah’ for our family. We had an AMAZING team of men and ladies from my home church in Walker who worked for weeks helping us get the place wedding ready. The day of the wedding, I was blown away at how many people (at least 50) showed up early in the morning willing to do whatever needed to be done.
To everyone who attending the wedding, thank you for sharing such an important moment with Keith and I. Please keep our marriage in your prayers as we grow together and conquer life’s obstacles.
To those of you who helped on that day and for weeks before, we cannot thank you enough. It is because of you that Keith and I were able to truly enjoy our wedding day.
To our friends who stood beside us at the alter, we couldn’t have done it without your support. You mean the world to us and we are so glad we get to ‘do stuff’ with you all!
To our families, thank you for the godly examples of marriage that you have given us throughout our lives. Thank you for loving us and working so hard to make our wedding everything we ever dreamed.
To my mom, thank you. You created my fairy tale. You listened to my ideas without complaint and you took the stress on yourself so that I wouldn’t have to be anxious about anything. Thank you for being my mom and my best friend and teaching me what it means to be a godly wife and mother. I am genuinely the luckiest girl in the world to have you on my side. I love you.
To all of you who are just experiencing this for the first time, enjoy. Pictures do it no justice, this was a truly magical day where God’s love could be felt at every turn.

Best Day Ever!
Thanks, Momma!
Beautiful, thanks for sharing. 💐
Hello! I’m on a tight budget for a wedding as well, and your blog is like gold to me. It is extremely insightful. Better than the other one’s that say “I saved so much by having 3 people come to my wedding, and we ate Ritz crackers and cheese!” My wedding priority list is about the same as yours. Thank you so much for your advice!! I bookmarked your blog and will be returning soon. 🙂
Thanks, Katherine! I’m so glad I was able to help! Congrats and remember to enjoy everything. Decide now that you’re not going to let stress get the best of you and I promise it will be the best day of your life!
I absolutely love love love your bridesmaids outfits!! How did someone make those??
Yes. They Did!
Where did you find your wedding arch? It is SO beautiful and we are in need of one just like that. And what rental company did you use?? We’re trying to save as much money as we can since we’re also in the process of buying our first home. Thanks so much!!!
My dad actually built it for me and we stained it. I know you can search on pinterest and find a ‘wedding arch’ or ‘lattice arch’ how to!
