I’m Kassy: 29 years old, mom of two, and wife to the Professor. I started this website in 2015 as a fashion blog and it has grown and transformed into my passion project and a place that I hope is a wealth of information and a source of joy! I share what I enjoy and what makes me smile. That often includes fashion, home interiors, family life, and DIY. It also includes a LOT of Amazon. I am a self-diagnosed Amazon addict and I absolutely love sharing my finds with all of you.
My husband, Keith, and I along with our two littles, Kate(3) and Max(1.5) live in the Jackson, MS area. I was born and raised in Walker, LA and a piece of my heart will always live there. I graduated in Interior Design from LSU and still practice a bit. I offer online Design Services here as well. Keith and I met during my time at LSU when he was getting his PhD and got married in 2015. We moved right after we got married and have been here in MS ever since. We absolutely love our sweet little life and are so thankful for God’s blessings. I can’t forget to mention that we also have a Chocolate Lab, Collins, and an Irish Doodle Turtle that complete our family and bring us TONS of joy. My prayer and mission for KOD is that it is a place you leave inspired to find joy in the little things and to create your own beauty in the not-so-beautiful moments in life. I know fashion is trivial and ‘things’ are unnecessary, but I hope you and I can find some common ground in those topics and create a friendship knowing that we’re all sailing on the same (sometimes rough) seas. Come as you are. Leave as my new virtual best friend!
