If there is one thing that I’ve always wished I could do to my home/bedroom/apartment, it is to fill it with the bright, colorful, chaotic masterpiece that is Bohemian Decor. I love bright colors and mixing prints and patterns. Why haven’t I done this yet? I’ve been scared!!! It is a lot to handle if you’re a preppy neutral color wearing girl like me.
Boho is all about mixing the elements and bringing different cultures into one room. So you aren’t comfortable bringing in real-world cultural artifacts into your rooms? Yea me either. That is a step too far in the boho direction for me. I want to stay safe and sound in my semi-boho space with pieces that can be reused for other styles of design. Because I WILL decide to redesign. We always do!

I know right?!? Its AWESOME SAUCE! The green sofa is daring and totally gunna pay off! Your house will automatically be the place where everyone wants to hang because who wouldn’t feel Supa Fly hanging out on the coolest PeaGreen Sofa EVA! This sofa is from Dot & Bo! They have some of the greatest sofas in fabulous colors, and affordable as well!
The coral of the chair totally offsets the green in the sofa. Add a geo pattern on neutral colored rug (gotta have some neutral or else our eyes will be sooo exhausted) and fun Moroccan style pouf from Lulu&Georgia, and a cool mod century style coffee table to really mix things ups. Finish off with some fun pillows and a brightly colored throw.
Add some plants to keep your space feeling ‘earthy’. YES! They have to be real plants. I know, I know! It’s tough to keep them alive. I myself have a plant I not-so-fondly refer to as Char-lette(pronounced shar-let, emphases on the let) and though it has been tough and she is a greedy little water guzzler, she’s still alive. Google ‘plants that are hard to kill’ and start with those!
