Happy Friday, everyone! Can you believe the weather is finally cooling off a bit here in Central MS? We’ve even had a real fire in our fireplace this week. This is my new go-to dress! And at less than $14, it’s a no brainer! SHOP IT HERE! For my taller ladies, never fear, I had to hem this little beauty about 2 inches to make it work for me! When I tell you this is the comfiest dress ever, I totally mean it. It’s made out of the softest t-shirt like material. trust me ladies, this is going to be a must have for winter. How cute is this going to be under a wool coat?
Over the knee boots are so much fun. They take any outfit to the next level. See my favorite gray boots in this floral dress post. I took a cue from my blogger bestie/idol and picked up these ladies from Target for less than $50! Thank you, Brittany! I can’t wait to wear these babies with… well EVERYTHING!
Let’s chat about hats, though! I love a good hat, but I have certain criteria that it must meet. Everyone’s head is different, so I can’t speak for everyone, but one of my pet peeves is a hat that is made too ‘tall!’ When the body of the hat is too tall, it makes your head look odd, so watch out for that. Another pet peeve is a brim that’s too floppy. A floppy brim has it’s place for sure. I especially love to wear them in the spring and summer. But the floppiness of the brim is important. I like a stiff brim but if you’re looking for floppy, remember that it should only flop enough to create a slight bend in the front. It should NOT look like a short wave! (/\/\/\ or ~~~ is a No No!) Plus this one is on SALE!!!
