Front Porch Christmas Decor

For the past few years, I’ve been really slacking on the outdoor Christmas decor. But this year, Kate is old enough to enjoy it and I knew I wanted to do soemthing. So I was thrilled with Wayfair reached out to sponsor my front porch decor.

I had the most fun ever shopping for our front porch. I wanted a simple, understated design. I’ve been straying from red the last few years because so much of my house is contrasting colors, so I chose lots of greenery and natural textures.

This Garland was a great find! I wanted something simple and kind of sparse for a really soft look around my door. Having the garland only go down one side of the door balanced out the taller tree on one side. I typically love symmetry, but love how this turned out. I ended up using 3 strands of 5ft garland. Two on the door, and one in the basket with the logs to add a bit of greenery.

The small 4ft Christmas tree turned out so cute. Again, I wanted something a little more sparse and not super full that gives off a bit of a rustic minimalist look. This one is also pre-lit, but I honestly haven’t even tried to plug it in yet. Maybe next year I’ll do the whole light thing but this year we haven’t gotten around to it!

These birch logs are 100% my favorite find and I’ll be using them for years and years to come. They are real, burnable firewood, but much too pretty to burn in my opinion. I used a metal basket I had lying around the house and just pilled the logs right in. I also stacked a few under the tree to cover the metal base.

Overall, I could NOT be more pleased. It’s exactly what I had envisioned and Wayfair had everything all in one place. They have so many great options for different Christmas aesthetics, I had a hard time deciding!

Do you put lights outside for Christmas? Are we the only ones who dread that task?
