My Skin Care Routine

Hi friends! I’m excited to bring you todays post on my skin care routine. I was hesitant to write this post because I’m sure some of you out there feel the way I felt about the products and company I’m going to tell you about. But, just hear me out. I’m a changed woman.

About mid way through my pregnancy, I started using Rodan & Fields ‘Reverse’ Regimen and it has completely changed my skin for the better. It took a while for my mom to talk me into trying this product because (no offense to anyone who sells stuff) I’m really hesitant to use any product that isn’t sold in a store like normal. I’ll tell you the whole store below, keep reading.

Rodan & Fields is one of those companies that has been around for a while. I’ve been offered it so many times in the past and have always turned it down. I’m just always a little suspicious of companies that enlist people to sell their products and offer those women lots of incentives to sell. I think that sometimes that can foster exaggeration of the product’s abilities on the part of the seller.

But, here I am, a true believer in Rodan & Fields products. What did it take for me to convert? Someone I know well, trying out several different things and telling me their honest opinion while NOT trying to sell me on anything.

So that’s what I’m trying to do here. I’m not being paid to say this or even asked to say this. I will link my mom’s R&F page, but only so that you guys can check out products yourself. I totally don’t want to convince you of anything. All I want is to provide an honest review for you guys to read and compare.

So a while back, mom my started using R&F and loved what it did for her skin. She, too, is wary of companies like this trying to overcharge or scam people, so she finished out her regimen and switched to another similar option that her dermatologist recommended. Long story short, she tried at least 3-4 different regimens before realizing that R&F was easily the most effective for the money.

Fast forward to me forgetting my face wash while on a visit to her house. So she introduced me to R&F and let me use her regimen for a few days. I was immediately curious. I could tell the difference in only a few days. My skin was brighter, my pores were smaller, and my dry spots were fading quickly. (mom uses the ‘Redefine’)

So that’s when I asked for my own regimen. I chose the ‘Reverse’ regimen because it boasts brightness and anti aging properties. I figure, it’s better to be proactive about my aging skin! After even a few days of using it, I noticed that I had a glow I didn’t before. I felt more comfortable going places without makeup and my skin was dewy!

You’ll notice that in the photos, I’m missing step 3. That’s because I’m still nursing. Step 3 is actually the brightening agent. I can’t use it because it has tretinoin in it and that’s a big no-no for pregnant and breast feeding women. But it doesn’t stop the other stuff from really working, trust me!

I’ve had a few nasty breakouts after Kate was born. They were totally hormonal, though. I don’t necessarily think that my regimen made them better or worse. But I borrowed a little of my little brother ‘Unblemish’ regimen and it nipped those pesky pimples in the bud pretty fast!

All in all, this skeptic is a total believer now. I know R&F is a little pricey, but my skin is the one thing I will 100% splurge on. It’s the thing that will keep you young or show your age as you get older. We HAVE to take care of it.

As a result of mom, my sister, my little brother, my dad, and now me all wanting to use R&F, Mom decided to start selling it!

Here is the link to my Mom’s Rodan And Fields Site so that you can take a look for yourselves.

Also, If you’re wondering about LashBoost. The answer is YES. Always YES. It’s pricey but it 100% works. And it’s so much better for you that lash extensions. Plus, I’ve had my first tube for over 6 months now and I still use it every few nights!

If you’re wondering which regimen is for you, you can take this little quiz to find out!

Also, here is my mom’s (Melinda Sanchez) contact info if you have any questions or want to try out some stuff before you commit!!
