It’s that time of year again! I happen to LOVE the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s such a great opportunity to stock up on items for fall and winter. The items on sale are NEW RELEASES or they are some of the best selling items from the previous years. This year, I shopped the sale a little differently since I know my belly will soon be too large for most of my clothing. I used it as an opportunity to grab some items I know I can wear this winter with a bump but also in years to come.
Below, I’m sharing the 8 items that I purchased this year. In a few days, I’ll likely share a few honorable mentions that I didn’t buy but totally would’ve if I had a bit more cash to spare!
BASICS
This one is already selling out FAST. I’ve been eyeing this one since last year and am SO glad they brought it back. It’s available in 5 colorways.
I ordered it in a LARGE to accommodate my bump in the coming months but if I wasn’t pregnant, I’d order my normal size M.
I always ALWAYS order a white tee from the N Sale every year. White tees can wear out after a season of hard wear (and I wear mine non-stop) so I get a new one each year. The BP. ones are always great quality and not too see through. Again, I sized up for the bump but would usually get a size M.
I’m the queen of striped tees so this one was a no brainer. Such a fun wear under cardigans this fall. Or with denim in the spring and summer. I ordered a L for the bump but would typically order TTS.
SWEATERS
I ordered several cardigans because they’re a no brainer for a pregnant fall/winter. I think sweaters can start to make you look a little large, but cardis are a great way to layer!
My mom is actually who I ordered this for because she’s been dying for a Barefoot Dreams sweater for a while. They are supposed to be the COZIEST ever. I’m really excited to get this in and see how it measures up to the hype. Mom is a size 4 so I ordered her the XS/S. If I was ordering for myself, I would’ve gotten the M.
I LOVED this blush color and it looked super soft. I though it would be a GREAT layering piece for this pregnant lady. I ordered the M because it’s designed to have an oversized fit!
I LOVE the oatmeal color, ribbed detail, and slits on the side of this cardigan. I can see myself wearing this one SO much. It was killing me not to get it in every color. Ordered a M.
SHOES
This bootie is STUNNING! I got the tortilla suede color but it comes in 5 gorgeous colors including snakeskin (I LOVE). I got my true size: 7!
I wear mules pretty much non-stop during the fall. Especially since it doesn’t get THAT cold down here. I’m obsessed with these spotted mules! LOVE. Ordered my true size 7!
