Skirts and Sweaters

Keith and I had such a wonderful weekend back home in LA catching up with family and seeing some of my old high school friends at a wedding. Congrats to the beautiful bride and groom, Channing & Trenton! When deciding what to wear to their wedding, I knew I wanted to go with the midi skirt trend and I found this perfect pleated black one at H&M. For the wedding, I paired it with a short sleeve shirt (because Louisiana heat is no joke) but in a perfect 50 degree weather world, I would’ve rocked it with this Zaful Mock Choker Sweater. I am LOVING wearing skirts and sweaters this fall!

Feeling all the Retro Vibes on this look today!!!

I’m always looking for a new way to implement this season’s hottest trends and I think we can all agree that chokers are BACK to stay (hello 90s)! This sweater from Zaful is a super fun! It’s plunging neckline and choker give you a little sexy edge even though you’re wearing comfy oversize knit! this sweater is a bit cropped on me (nothing is fully cropped because I’m 5’2″, ya know!!) but I’ve also linked a similar sweater that looks to be a bit longer and is almost identical! This would look so fab with high waisted jeans as well.

This skirt is the new love of my closet life. The soft silky material feels and looks super luxurious, but at only $40, it’s a total steal! I love how classy it made me feel. I’m not typically (or ever) the girl who’s looking for something super sexy, but I felt fabulously classy and a bit sexy in this little number the other night! It’s all in how you feel and this skirt made me feel like a million bucks. This is so transitional as well. It could be worn in all season just with a change of top and shoe and by all ages!

These pretty baby pink shoes are none other than Dee Keller Designs. If I could use one word to describe the Dee Keller Portia pump, it would be COMFORT! While all the other ladies are tossing their shoes, you’ll be dancing the night away (with elongated legs and flexed calves)! I wore these to the wedding on Saturday and seriously could’ve worn then for hours more. Along with comfort, can we talk about how fabulous this suede color is? It’s the prefect baby pink. On my feet it almost looks nude but with just a little something to elevate any outfit! Dee Keller makes the gorgeous pumps in so many colors too! I need them all. They’re a little $$$, but I’d be lying if I said they weren’t worth every penny!
