Time sure flies when you’re in love. That’s right, it’s been 6 whole months since Keith and I were married in the most dreamy ceremony EVER! Click here and here to see photos of our magical day. I’ve been so excited to share an update of our crazy, happy lives with you. Our sweet family of four (we have two very human-like pups) have really enjoyed living under one roof. How nice is it to have your best friend around ALL of the time?
To celebrate our 6 months of marriage, Keith and I are taking the day off to spend some time together just hanging out, watching old movies, and going to our very favorite Mexican restaurant. We’ve also commemorated this special day by gifting each other brand new Wood Watches by Jord. These watches are seriously the most unique and beautiful watches I’ve ever seen. Keith and I both decided to go with an ebony wood for our main wood color. The color of the watches is actually the real pigmentation of the natural wood enhanced and sealed for protection. Jord provided each of us with a sizing tool so that the watches came in sized exactly right for each of us. The wooden packaging itself was enough to get us excited, but the watches themselves are exquisite.
Keith chose the men’s Dover series watch in Ebony and Copper. It is a classic design with a twist using the copper face and visible gears. And unexpected but exciting discovery was that you can see through the gears from the outside and inside of the watch. If you’re looking for a unique gift for your stylish (or needing help in that department) boyfriend, husband, or a father’s day gift, I highly recommend investing in a Jord Watch. Keith is already wearing his daily.
I chose the women’s Frankie Series in Ebony and Gold. I love a large, clean watch face and this design had me drooling. It’s even better in person than I could have imagined. The watch is super lightweight and absolutely beautiful. I love that the ebony wood is a stark contrast from the gold details. We could only choose one watch, but I know each of the colors available in this style would be absolutely stunning. I love the industrial yet natural vibes the Jord Watches give off. This was such a great gift
