Happy November, folks! Time sure is flying and winter is coming (though the temperature sure feels like summer)! One of my very favorite fall/winter trends is leather and the ability to wear leather in a variety of ways. These leather leggings have been an amazing addition to my closet (I bought them last fall but they’re still available) and I’m constantly finding new ways to wear them. This new Edgy Casual look with Backroad Design is going to be on serious rotation this winter!

There is nothing I love more than a casual, comfy outfit that looks just as chic as something super fancy. This fit its giving me all the edgy vibes without sacrificing comfort. Probably the best part of the look is this awesome ‘SLAY’ tank top from Backroad Designs! It totally makes me feel like a DIVA even though I’m just going to the grocery store. I definitely think this tank with transision me to the spring/summer as well! It’s got those larger arm holes so it would be super cute with a bralette (or sports bra for working out)!
This leather baseball cap is also from Backroad and I’m in LOVE! Hats are so easy on bad hair days and this leather one is a total home run (see what I did there?)! Plus, Backroad’s logo is this cute little antler design which makes the hats even cuter! And I know a lot of my southern ladies love to sport your antlers! Now you can do it and still look super edgy. You’re hunting men are going to totally LOVE it! Plus this hat comes in 4 colors! I’m LOVING the olive!
Lets chat again about these leather leggings. Their super high waisted (YES!) and really flattering. I know a lot of you are super weary of the whole ‘leather on my butt’ thing, but these leggings actually look really great on my thighs and butt. Plus, my simple solution to being a little less than confident about my backside is to always wear a shirt/jacket that covers my booty when I’m wearing leggings! It’s a great compromise for me that still allows me to rock the leather. If you recognize them, it’s because I wore them last year in this Cape post… they’re awesome!
I picked up this new cardi from Old Navy last week and I’ve already worn it 3 times because it’s just THAT good. I like to keep several cardigans in my rotation during these months just in case the weather cools down unexpectedly. This one is so soft and the perfect shade of gray!
