If you’re into pretty baubles, you’ve probably heard of Rocksbox. It’s a subscription based jewelry ‘rental’ program. They send you 3 pieces of beautiful jewelry every month and you wear it as many times as you want, send it back, and then they send you another box. If you’ve been trying to decide whether or not to get a Rocksbox subscription, I’m here to help. I’ve been working with Rocksbox for several months now and I’m ready to share my thoughts on the process, the jewelry, and the $$!
This is my 3rd Rocksbox set in the last 5 or so months, and I have to say, I’m addicted! As you can see from the photos above, the jewelry is FANTASTIC. If you’re like me and you love expensive jewelry but can’t afford to fork up the $$$, Rocksbox is a great way to be able to wear your favorite designers, like Loren Hope, without breaking the bank.
If expensive jewelry isn’t your thing, thats ok too, because Rocksbox makes sure to send you affordable pieces as well. And the best part is, if you find something you can’t live without, they give you the option to buy it. Plus, they give you $10 credit a month to use towards your purchase.
When you sign up with Rocksbox, they assign you a stylist. You create a wish list of items on their site that you love and your stylist puts together a set that they think best fits your style and works together as a group. You typically receive a necklace, bracelet, and earrings (or ring) with each set. After you receive your set, you can leave your stylist feedback. This month, I asked my stylist, Adrienne, to send me more color for summer as the last couple of boxes I got were more neutrals. And she did! How gorgeous is this Loren Hope Sylvia Necklace in Bay blue.
Adrienne paired it with a dainty bracelet from Slate and some understated but beautiful Olivia & Grace Moonstone and Quartz earrings. I was so excited to receive this set and I can’t wait to get tons of wear out of each of these pieces.
When I’m finished with the pieces (either in a month or longer if you’re not ready to let go) you apply the return label (which is already packaged with your box) and drop it off in the mail. As soon as they receive your returned box, they will start packaging a new one to send out. And like I said, you can purchase any of your pieces at any time.
The logistics of receiving your box and sending it back are SO EASY. I’m not a frequent post office visitor and Rocksbox pre-packages everything so that you don’t have to be. You drop it in a mail slot and it is on its way. ZERO HASSEL.
And all of this is only $19 per month. I can spend $19 in one trip to my favorite jewelry store on pieces I may only wear once or twice, but Rocksbox insures that you will have beautiful, on trend jewelry new EVERY SINGLE MONTH!
