I cannot get enough of the off-the-shoulder trend this summer and I don’t think I’m the only one. I’ll be showing my shoulders all summer long, you can bet on that. Another trend I’m super excited to sport is the neck scarf. In todays post I chose a periwinkle bandana to create a very cool, kinda sexy, country girl chic summer look. And I paired the look with my very favorite Jord Watch for a perfect combination.
I think this might be my favorite look so far. This look (or maybe its just me) is dying for a chance to walk the streets of NYC. A White off-the-shoulder top is a no-brainer this summer. This Lulu’s version stole my heart (but not my money)! You can never have too many white tops for summer. and any off the shoulder top looks AMAZE with a neck scarf. You can find some pretty fab ones out there but this bandana happened to come from Hobby Lobby for $1.19! If you’re hoping to try out this trend with a bandana, I suggest soaking it in some fabric softener for a while to get rid of all of that nice, craft store starch so that you’re bandana has more of a soft, scarfy (not a word) feel.
Since I was really hoping to draw attention to the bandana, I went super light on the jewelry. Except for my Jord Wood Watch. I won’t go anywhere without it. I love the casual vibes that the wood gives off and the lightness of the material makes it so easy to wear all day, every day. I’m serious when I say that I can’t get enough. I’m so glad I went with the Ebony wood. I feel like it looks so edgy and can hold it’s own without too much over-accessorizing.
