Comfy Summer Top & Slides

Today’s post is much lighter than Monday’s post all about my body insecurities – read it here. So light. Like this Old Navy summer tank top light. I’m obsessed! My Old Navy shopping cart currently has this top waiting in every color for me to push ‘order.’ Not to mention these adorable on-trend slides. Check it out.

If you follow me on  Insta Stories, the you know that we accidentally shot this ENTIRE look while my fly was unzipped… OMG! That’s what happens when you change in your car for photoshoots! Luckily, photoshop and I are friends and I fixed it. I’m sure if you look close enough, you can see my sub-par photoshop skills covering my oops! Blogger FAIL!

So it’s been HOT lately, y’all. And beating the heat is something everyone has been trying to do. This Old Navy Top is the ULTIMATE summer top. It’s super light weight and fits so stinking cute. After I bought it, both Kylie and my sister were talking about going back to Old Navy and grabbing it for themselves. It comes in several colors and patterns. Don’t mind me as I buy it in every single one!

Slides are having a serious fashion moment right now. High heels, flats, and everything in between are overrun with this ‘slide’ style. I have these loafer mules here but I’ve been wanting a more casual version. I LOVE espadrilles for summer and love that these little sandals have the best of both world. And they are SO comfy. They fell kind of like you’re wearing slippers. Forever 21 has SOOO many different styles and colors in this fab new style.  I’m loving the rusty red color and the mustard color for summer.

Another funny story… a taxidermy Elk (like super huge) fell on my dad’s head last night. He had to get a bunch of staples in his head!!! How Ironic, friends? I always knew hanging dead animals in your house could never end well. Not to mention, I hate those big ugly eyesores! I love a good european mount though (in case any of you hunting wives were wondering how I would decorate my home if I had a hunting husband – which YAY! I do not!). Anyway, he’s totally fine minus the fact that he has a large hole in his big, hard head! Hard being the focus here, people! That’s where I get mine from!
