So I have to tell you all about this shoot. First of all, this was the 3rd attempt. The first was after church on Sunday when I wore the outfit to church. Both Elizabeth and I were dragging and decided to opt for naps instead. The second was wednesday afternoon, our usual blog photoshoot appointment. But hello daylight savings and thank you for ruining our afternoon light. Both Liz and I work full time and after work hours it’s basically night time.

So yesterday at lunch, we ran home and tried to grab a couple shots. What we didn’t know was that the mosquitos are SWARMING in our backyard. I promise, they were biting us through our clothes. So we did an extra speedy photoshoot.

So I give you the slightly forced and very unorganized work of Kassy and Elizabeth. check our out BTS shot below. That’s little Sully, my kind of bad, but really spoiled puppy. And that cardboard thing? That is what I used under my nightstands while I painted them white. So since it was white (or mostly white) we used it as a reflector! Clever, eh. Also, we need to cut our grass.

Anyway, too exhausted to discuss the outfit in detail, but every one of these pieces is a must have basic for fall. They are extremely easy to wear and you can mix and match to your hearts content. Black jeans, a white button-up, a jean jacket, taupe booties, and a wide brim fedora. Add a bold lip and you’re set!
