My Fall To-Do List

It’s FALL!! Overnight, the weather here in Jackson has dropped about 10 degrees making the high around 75. And I’m over here yelling to Keith, “WE NEED TO GO TO A FAIR,” whilst spinning around in the falling leaves in our back yard. This time of year is always my favorite because I love layering, light jackets, and spending time outdoors. I’m so excited to see what Central MS has to offer for fall activites and while I explore my options, I’ve created a Fall To-Do List to help me narrow down my choices. Maybe it will help you narrow yours down as well!

I’ve already started to plan out several of these things. Keith has built a fire pit in our back yard and we have plans to hit up the Mississippi State Fair next weekend (we will see how it compares to LA fairs because you know I’m a bit partial!). 

Here is a fun fact about me, I HATE all things pumpkin. I love the smell and the idea, but I’ve never liked the taste. So when everyone is talking about getting Starbuck’s Pumpkin Spice Latte’s, I feel so left out! I also don’t really like coffee. I can drink it but it’s not my fav for sure. Once a year, though, I try to drink a PSL. It makes me feel very basic and frankly, super cool. I always document it with lots of photos, so you’ll know when it happens and now you’ll know I’m probably choking it down!

Fall is a great time to mix all of your neutrals. A lot of people tend to stick to one neutral at a time or they have rules, like no black and brown together, etc. I challenge you to banish your rules and start mixing neutrals because there is nothing quite as classic as a neutral fall outfit like the one above. It’s stylish but not to ‘loud’ and I think it definitely feels chic. The sweater and jeans above are old, but I’ve linked similar items.
