Keith and I celebrated our 3rd Anniversary yesterday. It was sooo romantic. I took a nap around lunch time, The Professor took a nap after work, and we all watched Tinkerbell while we ate dinner! I thought it would be at least 5 years before we got so lame. Honestly, though, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love our little life!
In honor of our anniversary, I’m sharing a fool proof, fun gift guide of items you can get for your hard-to-buy-for husband, boyfriend, or even your brother. This list was put together by Keith, for Keith, and with Keith in mind! I had to edit it a bit, because he’s SUPER weird, you guys.
| Straw Dad Hat. Multi-functional and very lame, this hat has everything a cool dad (or just a cool dude) needs. Keith enjoys sporting his while cutting the grass, lounging by the pool, and sitting on the sofa during football games. He feels very in touch with his inner retired fisherman while wearing it!
| Belichick Hoodie. Does your husband enjoy pretending to be Bill Belichick? Mine too! How weird. Save him from having to cut off his own sleeves, and buy him a pre-cut, sideline ready hoodie!
| Brown Boots. Every few years we replace Keith’s winter boots. I love that these can be dressed up or down. It gives your husband the perfect opportunity to wear brown with the wrong color pants and a belt that doesn’t match!
| Qalo Ring. Obviously, I’m very into these this year. The professor hasn’t worn his actual wedding ring in about a year. It’s a pretty good investment, really!
| Black Fossil Watch. Keith enjoys things that are ‘murdered out’. That or he just likes saying ‘murdered out’! But really, I think this watch it’s super cool! It would make a GREAT addition to your man’s collection.
| Ray Ban Marhsal. I actually got this idea when my brother, Cody, tried this on black Friday shopping. He looked so dang cute in them. I have the hexagon glasses (I’m obsessed with them) and this is the men’s version! They’re cooler than cool, guys!
| Reclaimed Record Coasters. This is a great gift if you and your husband have a relationship that allows him to have opinions about your home decor. We do not have this kind of relationship. I think he added these with wishful thinking. Good Try, bud!
| I have too many numbers on this thing… OOPS! Skip 8!
| Tile. These are actually a GREAT investment. I kind of want some of these for myself. Then maybe we can stop spending so much dang time looking for our keys.
| Nasa T-Shirt. This thing is only $8. Just buy it for him, already!
| Grilled Cheese Griller. We have ALL of the grill gadgets. Or so I thought. I wasn’t surprised at all that Dr. R found YET another one. Now we’ll be eating grilled grilled cheeses… which are apparently different from regular grilled cheeses.
| Echo Spot. We have this as our alarm clock beside our bed. When we’re out of town, Keith actually talks about how he misses Alexa. She turns our lamps on and off, and wakes us up with a soft song! I think we’re both a little in love with Alexa.
| Driving Gloves. These are on the list because last week, Keith mentioned putting on his driving gloves. When we got in the car, I realized he meant his child sized gloves with skeleton hands on them. So needless to say, I’ve ordered and upgrade.
| Yeti Mug. Normal mugs just won’t do anymore. I can see the appeal. I’ve only started drinking coffee several weeks ago, but the whole ‘microwaving your coffee’ bit is very real! Keep your man’s coffee nice and warm in this mug!
| New Balance White Kicks. From what I hear, every man needs some white kicks. Keith’s had these New Balance ones for a while now and he LOVES them. And I love the way they look too! It’s a win, win!
