It’s the best time of the year, everyone!!! Let’s hang our stockings and make our Christmas lists! This year, my list is pretty much just a budget list of my home renovation stuff. But I know many of you use my Christmas list every year as inspiration for your own, so instead, I put a list together of my VERY FAVORITE THINGS. My mom, Kelsey, and I sat down today and hashed it out. These are things that I use every single day. In fact, I’m wearing at least 4 of them as I type this post.
Gift guides are great, don’t get me wrong. But instead of putting together a list of thing I think I might want, I thought it would be helpful for you guys to see a list of things I 100% swear by and will back til my dying day (don’t hold me to that, please)! Nothing is overly expensive, so bundle them together to create the perfect gift for yourself or grab some of the smaller ones as gifts for friends and family. They will NOT be disappointed, I can promise you that!
1. Veja Sneakers. I bought these on a trip to Dallas last spring after I had a TERRIBLE experience in the Golden Goose store. I was ready to drop major $$ on some GG’s but after being treated second rate, I decided to bail. I saw these sneakers in Neiman Marcus and fell in love! They’re still over $100 but much more affordable than a lot of designer sneakers. I wear mine basically every day and I find them SO comfortable. Kelsey also has a pair in a rose gold with velcro that are SO CUTE and she’s super picky about shoes and loves the comfort of these as well!
2. Revision Skincare Youthful Lip. Honestly, I’ve only been using this for about a week, but I’m 100% sure I’m in love. Kelsey and I went to a dermatology event last week and ended up both buying one after trying it out. It’s not a lip mask, per say, but more like a thick chapstick that also acts as a gloss. You only need to reapply a few times a day because it lasts so long and my lips feel so healthy when I use it. I’ve been reaching for it so much lately and I definitely think it would make a GREAT stocking stuffer.
3. Love Handle Loop and Mount. If you’ve been watching my stories lately, you’ll know that I’ve found a new iphone soulmate. A long time user of loopy cases or amazon loops had me hesitant to try something new, but I’m SOLD. They can attach to any case and the stretchy elastic band means they are much lower profile than a loopy case. They also act as a stand for your phone by popping out AND they’re magnetic. So they will stick to any metal and support the weight of your phone. Make sure you grab the ‘pro’ version to get all of these features. The mount is also a game changer. You can attach it in your car or at your design and the love handle magnets onto it so you can easily view your phone! I’m telling you, I WILL convert anyone and everyone to these phone loops! 4. Pura & Dae Scents. If you’ve been on the fence about trying one of these Pura Scent devices, let me just nudge you over the edge. I have been OBSESSED with mine for a while now. Personally, I love the collab they did with DAE scents. Their scents are NUTS. I love them so much. Simple, clean, fruity yet warm. ALL the things. The pura allows you to set schedules for your scents so that they put out a certain level of smell for the amount of time you want them to. For instance, I run my ‘Original Citrus“ from 8am-noon and my ‘Prickly Pear“ from 4pm-8pm every day at a level 4. but you can set your schedule to fit your needs or desired scent lever. I can’t speak to all the scents, as I’ve only used the Dae (i’m obsessed) but they have collabs with all of everyone’s favorite candle brands like Volcano and NEST! Such a great gift idea!
5. Initial Pendant Necklace. Full disclosure: This is Kelsey’s necklace. But in true sister fashion, I’ve been wearing it everyday for months. It’s cute, understated but fashionable and really affordable. I love layering it with my other favorites. It’s one of those great gifts for people you don’t know super well but can assure that everyone will love!
6. Victoria Emerson Wrap Bracelet. These are everywhere. All your favorite bloggers probably talk about them. I wouldn’t have even added them, but my mom pointed out that I wear mine every single day and she’s right. The wrap bracelets are my personal favorite but Kels like the layered ones with the single clasp. I just adore how they create a bracelet stack with ZERO effort. And they typically have major sales. I’ll do my best to share them when I see them from now on! Hold for Black Friday because I’m SURE they’ll be doing something major!
7. Lululemon Align Leggings (25″ for me). I’ve tried them all, friends. All the amazon dupes or other brands but I ALWAYS come back. There is just nothing quite like them. They are the comfiest, buttery soft leggings that stay up no matter what. Are the worth the $100 price tag? In my opinion, YES. I’ve found ONE DUPE (linked here) that is close enough to get by but I still think the fabric is a bit thicker and they don’t stay up quite as well. Lulus are just unbeatable. Christmas is a great time to try them out. Get them as a gift or ask for a gift card. You will be a convert, I promise and also, I’m sorry (HAHA)!
8. Oversized Sunglasses. Another fantastic find. Great Stocking stuffer. I have these in the matte black and the beige brown (which are in stock right now) and I WEAR THEM OUT. I’ve lost one of my pair before and immediately ordered an other. At $15, it would be shame not to. My mom and kelsey love them as well. I think you will too!
9. Copper Infused Hair Wrap. I got this as a gift from the Aquis company a few months ago and 100% didn’t expect to love it as much as I do. But I CANNOT wash my hair without it. I put it on immediately after getting out of the shower and wear it for 15-20 minutes before I blow dry. I do see a difference in my frizz level after using it versus a regular towel. A great addition to your hair care routine, in my opinion.
10. Link Hoop Earrings. Under $15 and my favorite ‘huggies’ ever. In full transparency, I lost mine in the move. CANNOT FIND THEM. But they’re so cheap so I just bought another pair and they’ll be here in a few days! YAY! There are tons of variations of these, but this style is easy to wear and so cute!
11. K Rhinestone Necklace. Another of my very favorite layering necklaces. I adore this one. I recent just ‘found it’ again after it being lost for a week or so and I’m so glad I did. It was like Christmas morning!! It also comes in a multi colored version and silver as well.
12. BEST TRAVEL CHARGER EVER!! I’ve done many the video and review on this guy. So many that I took a break for a while so that I wasn’t annoying everyone. But it is HANDS DOWN the best backup charger I’ve ever had. It’s cord/box free. It plugs straight into the wall via the prongs on the back and the cords are already built it. It can charge and iphone, android, and one other type of device (I’m not a cord expert). And it will charge it while it’s plugged into the wall or as a backup/travel charger. It’s the BOMB!! Great gift for anyone on your list. Husband, mom, yourself. We currently own 3 of them!
13. Amazon Sports Bra/Tank. This is supposed to be a dupe for the Lulu Align tank. IDK, I’ve never tried the luly version because I love the amazon version so much! I’m actually wearing it right now and It’s the perfect lounge bra/sports bra. I cannot back this one up enough. the support is SUPERB, and the comfort level is everything. My entire bra drawer is full of these and I don’t regret it one bit!
14. The little Steamer that Could. This guy is a real trooper. He travels with me everywhere and keeps me wrinkle free! For real, though. I love the compact size but the full results this steamer gives. It’s not a sparkly gift but I sure is a functional one and one I use daily. Mom has this one too and we’re both blown away by the quality for the price. A wonderful practical gift for those college students or busy moms!
