My Bedding Details

Hey friends! I just wanted to put together a quick post on my bedding details so that when you all had questions, I had an easy place to direct you for all of the answers! Keep reading for more info.

I love the idea of all white bedding. But with how often I apply fake tanner, it just doesn’t make sense for me to have white sheets. They would get so dingy with frequent washing. So I opt to have a dark charcoal gray sheet. Because of that, I’ve chosen to have 2 duvet’s on my bed.

The bottom on is a super soft cotton that can easily be bleached and washed. I simply pull that up to the top of the bed like a would any regular quilt, sheet, or comforter.

The top duvet is a linen texture. I like the idea of the different textures even though they’re both white. I let the bottom half hang over the end of the bed and fold the top half back twice so that the fold is about 16″ wide.

My sleeping pillows (Keith and I both use these silk pillowcases) lay flat behind two white standard shams. I have a queen so I use standard. If you have a king, I would use the king size. Then I use 3 euro sized throw pillows. Euro is 26″ x 26″. The cover I’m using for these pillows is actually 24″ x 24″. I like to overstuff my pillows for a fuller look.

The throw pillows, I actually dip dyed myself. You can check out the full tutorial here!

Lastly, I drape this throw blanket on the end and tuck it under the linen comforter. This is a similar look to the Hermes blanket but at a much lower pricepoint!

That is how I make my bed and I love it! It’s super cozy and easy. Even Keith can make it (kind of)! And I feel like it look super luxurious!

Below is a Tiktok I filmed to show how I do it!
